Pia Wurtzbach on Wednesday reflected on the night she became Miss Universe 2015.

In a series of posts, she gave fans a play-by-play on her feelings during the competition. As expected, the anxiety only continued to build as the other candidates got eliminated—from Top 10 to Top 5 to Top 3.

How did she manage to look fresh during the most nerve-wracking segment of the pageant, the Q&A? Apparently, cookies are the key to staying happy and calm!

"Here's a fun fact, I ate a lot of cookies backstage before Q&A para pag labas ko ulit ang saya saya ko lang tingnan dahil bagong kain ako. Haha," Wurtzbach wrote.

Are you guys enjoying my play by play? Haha ????After the top 5 Q&A where I was asked about my personal stand on US military presence in the Philippines, (Imagine if that was asked now. Whew. But thank God for all the intense Q&A training with Tito Nad @sigulanon) it was then time to call in the top 3. So we were doing Q&A twice, during top 5 and top 3. Something that the Miss Universe competition hadn't done in years. The moment before Philippines was eventually called for top 3, I wasn't even thinking about myself anymore. I just wanted to hear Steve Harvey say "Philippines!" so badly. And I remember singing this song in my head to help calm me down, "Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Are you gonna drop the bomb or not?" And so Steve did as I advance to top 3! ???? Who else was nervous when I was last to be called for the final round? ???????????????? #me #mymom #mysister #myfriends #theFilipinosintheaudience ????????????
