Maxine to go on vacation with boyfriend after grueling Miss Universe

More than any other candidate in the Miss Universe pageant, the Philippines' Maxine Medina was under the microscope throughout the competition held in her home country.

Which is why she is looking to unwind after the grueling competition, which saw her finish sixth.

Medina told GMA News that she's planning to go on a vacation with her boyfriend, model Marx Topacio.

"Pinag-usapan talaga namin 'yon. Win or lose, magta-travel kami," she said.

Topacio, on the other hand, is only too happy to be there for her.

"At least tapos na, pahinga na," he said. "Lagi kami niyang vacation, lagi kaming on the go. At least magagawa na namin."
