Maxine Medina visits House of Reps for Int’l Women’s Day
Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina took part in the plenary session at the House of Representatives on Monday ahead of International Women's Dayon March 8.
The Filipina beauty queen was invited to attend the All Women Session by Congresswoman Emi Calixto-Rubiano, who authored House Resolution No. 816, which congratulates and commends Medina for “her outstanding representation of our country during the Miss Universe 2016 pageant” last January.
Medina was accompanied by her family and her boyfriend Marx Topacio during her visit.

After taking a break following the Miss Universe pageant, where she finished in the Top 6, Medina said she is not closing doors on the possibility of becoming an actress.
"Well, let’s see kung anong magandang offer and then let’s explore. I’m willing to try anything. I’m open naman," she said.
