Wyn Marquez tagged as "The Queen of Asia" by a newspaper in Bolivia

Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2017 Winwyn Marquez has been featured on Promociones Gloria, a newspaper in Bolivia.

The Bolivian publication tagged her her as "La Reina De Asia" or "The Queen of Asia."

Wyn shared a photo of the newspaper page on her Instagram account and in the caption she expressed how honored she is to be the first Filipina and the only Asian to be competing in this pageant.

She posed queenly dressed in a Francis Libiran mermaid gown, with her hair tidied up in a bun styled by Renz Pangilinan.

The photo was taken by Filipino photographer Niccolo Cosme.

Reina Hispanoamericana's Facbook page posted a short introduction video of Marquez, set in the Philippines' iconic historic spot, Intramuros.

"The Philippines and Spain have shared history, culture, values and traditions for centuries and I am very honored to be the first ever Filipina to be part of this prestigious pageant, I am also very excited to meet everyone in Bolivia and to know more about this beautiful country," Marquez said on the video.

Additionally, the Kapuso actress shared a few details about her life in the Philippines.

"I am also a dancer and an actress here in the Philippines, I love teaching kids and recently I have obtained my teaching certificate," she said.

Wyn is set to compete in Bolivia for the international title in November.
