Peru wins Miss Grand International; Elizabeth Clenci finishes as 2nd runner-up

The Philippines' Elizabeth Clenci was named second runner-up at the Miss Grand International pageant on Wednesday night.

She was not able to do better than last year's bet, Nicole Cordoves, who was first runner-up.

Miss Peru was named the winner, while Miss Venezuela was named first runner-up.

Fourth runner-up is Miss Czech Republic and third runner-up is Miss Puerto Rico.

Before the winner was announced, the pageant gave out special awards to the following candidates:

• Miss Paradise Cave Heritage Award – Thailand
• Best in Social Media Award – Paraguay
• Best in Evening Gown – China

The Miss Grand International pageant was held on Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam.  — BM, GMA News
