Winwyn Marquez is still open to showbiz projects despite Reina Hispanoamericana win

Teresita Ssen "Winwyn" Marquez said despite her Reina Hispanoamericana victory, her doors are still open for projects in the showbiz industry.

During the homecoming party and press conference of the newly crowned beauty queen at Annabel's in Quezon City, Winwyn said she won't be leaving her acting career anytime soon despite having a crown on her head.

"I'm open to accepting projects, my organization is very open, and they think that whatever platform that you can speak, whatever platform that you can get attention people to hear you," Marquez said.

Marquez said, everything started with her acting career and she's very much willing to go back since she said her duties and responsibilities as a beauty queen wouldn't be affected with proper time management.

"I started being an actress and I would love to go back. I don't think maapektuhan naman 'yung duties and responsibilities as a beauty queen, kasi kung may oras ka, kung alam mo naman 'yung gagawin mo, magagawan mo naman ng paraan. I'm going to accept projects," she said.

When she was asked if she will become selective of the roles she would take, she said she trusts the Miss World Organization.

"I actually trust the Miss World Organization to choose for me. I think they know best, so whatever they think is best for me I will accept kasi from the start, I trusted them with everything and I wouldn't be here without them also and I know they know what's best for me, so sila na siguro bahala dun," she announced.

Apart from doing character roles, Marquez also mentioned that she would love to try her hand in hosting.

She said, "I would love to do hosting, I love to talk, I love to answer questions, I love to ask questions, sabi ko nga gusto ko pa rin ng character roles, it's not everyday you can slap someone, kumabaga di mo na-iimagine gawin 'yun in real life and it's nice to jump into another world 'cause it's acting, it makes you more creative sa gagawin mo."

Marquez also said that if she was given a chance to interview any one, it would be Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.

She said the first thing she would tell her is "First na sasabihin ko thank you, thank you for inspiring me not to give up."

Winwyn will have her homecoming parade in Parañaque City on November 20.
