Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach on Wednesday graced a press conference organized by the Department of Tourism to introduce the visiting Miss Universe queens Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Iris Mittenaere along with other candidates to the press.

It was a historic meeting of three amazing women who won the crown, but Pia’s heart was with everyone who competed.

When asked about her statement that judging was harder than competing, the beauty queen explained to the media that being at Axis in Planet Hollywood brought back memories. “I know what the girls feel,” she said.

Pia was crowned by Paulina Vega in the venue after a now infamous gaffe by host Steve Harvey. She thought she failed to win the crown because of a mix-up in the announcement.

As judges, she said, “our decision collectively will change somebody’s life...but there are some girls who are going back home without fulfilling the dream they wanted.”
