Miss International Philippines Ahtisa Manalo believes she's the same girl before the crown

Miss International Philippines Ahtisa Manalo may have won one of the biggest title and crown at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant this year but she believes she's the same simple girl before all the glitz and glamour.

Ahtisa shared a Facebook photo of herself during her warm homecoming in Quezon, and in the caption she said nothing has changed despite the success she has received.

"In this generation, we are used to living in a fast-pace lifestyle. Little do we appreciate the smaller and humble things that really generate true happiness.

Behind the glitz and glamour of being a queen, behind the elegance and sophistication of every gown I wear and behind the pride and honor of the crown, sash and title I have right now, is still the same girl that everyone knows. I'm just a simple girl who has a BIG DREAM."

At the end of her post she kept it light and expressed her craving for mango.

"PS: I really want to eat mango"
