Homeless man's transformation inspires netizens

It only took one person's attention and compassion to make a difference in the life of a homeless man.

The man, identified as Erwin Dean, unexpectedly found a friend while he was scavenging for food outside a shopping mall in Quezon City.

According to a report in GMA News TV's State of the Nation with Jessica Soho, Pastor Franklin Goden was moved when he saw Dean.

The pastor gave Erwin food and new clothes. He also took him to a barber for a haircut.

The two then enjoyed strolling inside a mall together.

Netizens were inspired by the pastor's initiative and the viral post in social media reached Erwin's siblings.
