A new crown will make its debut at the 68th Miss Universe competition

The Miss Universe organization announced the winner of the pageant will wear a new crown.

It will be made by world-renowned luxury jeweler Mouawad.

"It’s official! World-renowned luxury jeweler Mouawad is the official crown sponsor for the Miss Universe Organization," Miss Universe wrote on its Facebook page.

The MUO said the new crown will be called the "Miss Universe Diamond Crown" and it will make its debut at the 68th Miss Universe Competition.
