Isabelle de Leon on winning the Miss Multinational PHL 2019 crown: 'It's been a very memorable thirty days of my life'

Isabelle de Leon was overflowing with emotions after being crowned Miss Multinationa Philippines 2019. She considers her journey to the crown a very memorable one.

"I feel really, really grateful. It has been a very, very memorable thirty days of my life and I'm just really grateful po," Isabelle told GMA News Online in an interview.

The 25-year-old Kapuso celebrity-turned-beauty queen said she will do her best to represent the country.

"I'll do my best na mai-represent ang ating bansa sa Multinational international pageant," she said.

Isabelle said even before winning the crown she promised to help Bahay Kanlungan through her advocacy.

"Ngayon po na nanalo po tayo, I have more avenues to help them, and have a platform po to help them po even more," she said.

Isabelle said for the coming Miss Multinational pageant, she will be exerting "extra hard work talaga and kailangan po nating paghandaan talaga."

She eloquently answered in the Q&A portion where she was asked, "if the eyes is a window to your soul what would we see if we look into your eyes."

Her winning answer was:

  • What they would see in my eyes is love, eyes that see the good in other people aside from my eyes, lips the seeks to speak words of kindness and ears that listens to the needs of other people and hands that nurture other people's dreams. I believe that's the kind of beauty that shines from within and nothing can dim the light that shines from within.
