Kapuso stars to perform in online fundraising concert for family of GMA talent who died of COVID-19

Several Kapuso stars are set to perform live in an online fundraising concert to support the family of Joseph delos Reyes, the GMA talent who succumbed to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Aside from the assistance Joseph's family received from GMA Network, his friends and colleagues decided to organize the live online concert "Para Kay Seph: Online Rakrakan at Bayanihan" to support his family and gather funds for the future of Joseph's 9-month old son.

Hosted by Betong Sumaya and Boobay, the concert will feature artists like Bianca Umali, Ruru Madrid, Ice Seguerra, Glaiza de Castro, Julie Anne San Jose, Tom Rodriguez and Manilyn Reyes.

Other musicians and stars who will make an appearance include Spongecola, Chynna and Kean Cipriano, Gladys and Christopher Roxas, Jeffrey Hidalgo, Buboy Villar, LJ Reyes and Arra San Agustin.

Joseph was GMA's lighting director known for his work for "Wagas", "Sahaya" and "Inday Will Always Love You." He was only 32 years old when he died due to the virus.

The show will be held on April 19, Sunday at 6 p.m. and will be streamed on GMA Public Affairs' Facebook page and YouTube channel.
