Double rainbow spotted in GenSan
A double rainbow has been spotted in General Santos City!
Residents Marlon Binarao and Angkol Onyok were surprised to see not one, but two rainbows rising from the horizon.
It was the first time for Marlon to see a double rainbow, so he took a photo and shared it on the internet. Angkol also shared footage of a fuller arc seen from another part of the city.
A rainbow is formed when sunlight passes through a prism which separates the colors.
According to Arnold Clavio's report on "Unang Balita," a double rainbow occurs when light is reflected twice within raindrops.
If you look closely, the color sequence of the inner arc is opposite to the primary, like that of a mirror image.
