Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin will also be starring in the film, which is said to premiere in September this year.
The film is based on Nancy Springer's Edgar Award-nominated book series, The Enola Holmes Mysteries.
Set in England 1884, the film tells the story of Sherlock and Mycroft's rebellious teen sister Enola, who one day wakes to find that her mother has disappeared. She escapes from her brothers' grasp to search for her mother in London, gets entangled in a mystery, and becomes a super-sleuth in her own right.
The game is afoot!
