Our Lady of Lourdes image in Camarines Sur loses an eye

An image of the Our Lady of Lourdes in a chapel in San Fernando, Camarines Sur is missing an eye.

According to a report on "Unang Hirit" on Tuesday, a member of the Barangay Maragñi pastoral council, William Lumabao, noticed this when he went by the chapel to light a candle at the Virgin Mary.

An investigation was still ongoing as of the report, but it was speculated that the eye may have been stolen to be used as an amulet or "anting-anting."
