RR Enriquez says buying P6M worth of milk tea was a 'mistake'

RR Enriquez has made some bad business decisions during the pandemic, and she recently opened up about one of the worst ones on social media.

In an Instagram post last week, the former host and dancer said she bought P6 million worth of milk tea thinking it would be a big hit like her coffee products that usually sold out.

Things, however, did not go exactly as planned.

“Wanna know a secret? Mistakes that I did as a business owner during this pandemic?" RR wrote in the caption. "I ordered 50,000 pieces of milk tea which cost me P6 million."

She said she decided to share this so her followers and aspiring business owners would not make similar mistakes in the future.

"Yes, not bragging, I’m just being honest lang because I want to share with all of you the mistakes that I made during this pandemic,” she said.

“Para kapag naisipan n’yong mag-business, maiwasan n’yo ‘yung ganitong pagkakamali,” she added.

RR also clarified that her milk tea products "sold well," but not as well as her “Cryolipo" coffee product did.

“And then, boom hindi sya pinagkaguluhan unlike ng Cryolipo coffee. Correction, mabenta naman sya and sure ako mauubos ito pero need ko maghintay. Unlike sa coffee na pag-deliver sa akin ubos agad,” she said.

RR Rodriguez ventured into different businesses after her hosting stint on “Wowowee,” where she was first discovered as one of the dancers. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
