Kelley Day is 1st runner-up in Miss Eco International


Philippine bet Kelley Day was named first runner-up during the Miss Eco International pageant coronation night held in Egypt on Monday (PHL time).

Named Miss Eco International was Gizzelle Mandy Uys of South Africa.

Alexandria Kelly of the USA bagged the second runner-up title.

Kelley Day earlier won the Best National Costume in the National Costume Competition of the pageant.

The Fil-British Kelley, a Kapuso artist, won the Miss Eco Philippines 2019 title during the Miss World Philippines 2019 pageant.

She was supposed to compete in the Miss Eco International 2019 pageant last year but it was postponed due to the pandemic.

Earlier this year, Kelley said she had to do refresher training for the Miss Eco International pageant.

Kelley, who stands a little over 5'7", has a background in modeling before she started working on television.

She starred in the GMA drama series “Dahil sa Pag-Ibig” prior to joining Miss World Philippines 2019. 

Kelley said before that she suffered from alopecia, an auto-immune disease that causes hair loss. —KG, GMA News
