Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Perez slips on stage shortly after crowning moment

Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Perez slipped on stage shortly after her crowning moment on Sunday.

Her fellow queens helped her up and she recovered her poise to pose for photos with a smile.

Perez bagged the Ms. Bench Body or Best in Swimsuit award, Miss Bluewater Day Spa, Miss Artopian International, Miss Bench, and Miss Derma Fix.

In the Question and Answer portion, she smoothly delivered her thoughts when asked about what everyone should learn from the pandemic.

"After this pandemic, I hope that we never take for granted the family that we have, taking care of our health, and taking care of the people that protect us— our leaders, our front liners," she said.

"We should always give importance to those people. We may not see the efforts that they give out, but most definitely, they are our modern heroes and for that, we should always be grateful and we should always stick with them and pray for them," she added.

Tracy will represent the Philippines at the 70th Miss World pageant to be held in December in Puerto Rico.
