Maine Mendoza accidentally rips out a chunk of her eyelashes

Uh-oh — looks like Maine Mendoza had a bit of a beauty crisis.

On Instagram, the actress shared a photo of herself pouting, showing off her eyelashes that now had a bald spot in them.

In another photo, she showed the curler that she was using when she accidentally ripped off a chunk of her eyelashes.

"Eyelash curler nightmare!!!" Maine captioned. "Swipe left to see what happens when you put too much pressure on an eyelash curler (without finger rings)… You get a chunk of your lashes ripped out in a flash."

"Girls, go easy when curling if you don’t want a semi-kalbo lid," she added.

Her post was met with sympathetic comments from celebrity friends like Janine Gutierrez, Maggie Wilson, and Iza Calzado.

Paolo Ballesteros, however, left a light-hearted comment.

"Eto pala yung nahuli kong pumoposing ka," he said, adding the hashtag "#walakongkasalananjanha."
