Bea Fabregas reveals frustration as she gets COVID-19 despite not leaving home

Bea Fabregas has revealed she tested positive for COVID-19 through an antigen test despite not leaving home at all.

On her Instagram stories, Tuesday, the sports broadcaster said the scare started when her four-month- old child Tyler had fever with some congestion on Jan. 15.

Bea said they didn’t think it was related to COVID-19. However, she experienced symptoms a few days later. For their “peace of mind,” they immediately got tested.

“Nikko and I were feeling fine and I honestly wasn’t too stressed about COVID because we literally have not left the house,” she wrote.

“But as we were monitoring Tyler’s condition, I woke up yesterday with a weird throat.”

As seen on their antigen tests, Bea tested positive twice while her husband Nikko Ramos got a negative result. However, he felt body pain, so they assumed he was positive too. “It’s inevitable,” she said.

Bea said she was frustrated with their positive result knowing they had not left their house at all.

“I was a little discombobulated and quite honestly, shocked because you guys see my posts, [and] dito lang talaga kami. We were with my mom over the New Year, but we got home (on) January 3,” she said.

“I am a little frustrated and extremely sad. Especially because we haven’t left. As parents, you really try to do everything to protect your kids but wala, we are in a pandemic.”

Bea said that as of 3 a.m., she still had fever, but fortunately their baby was “feeling much better.”

The mom also mentioned that a plumber fixed their leaking pipe, and they guessed that’s how they got the disease.

Bea added that said she and Nikko had received their vaccines and boosters.
