David Beckham hands over Instagram access to Ukrainian doctor
David Beckham has announced that he is lending access to his social media to a doctor in Ukraine.
On Instagram, the English former professional football player said he was handing over his social channels to Iryna, the head of the regional perinatal center in Kharkiv.
“There she is working with pregnant mothers to help them give birth safely,” said David, who has over 71 million followers on the platform.
“Thanks to your donations, the oxygen generators they have received are helping newborns survive in appalling conditions.”
According to a BBC report, Iryna has shared videos of babies being treated and a basement where patients have been moved to escape shelling.
“Please continue to support these incredible people and charities like UNICEF in any way that you can together we can really make a difference,” said David. – RC, GMA News
