“[I would be] recycling anything I found around the house, always turning off the lights, and unplugging unused appliances. I didn’t know why at such a young age I was so conscious and aware,” she said.

“But now, I see that it is because I’ve always had a heart so big for earth and nature.”

Jenny’s pageant advocacy is to educate everyone about ecological sustainability, especially the youth and the marginalized sectors about renewable energy and reforestation.

“I’m sure we can be sustainable and choose greener ways over polluting our home. Let us all come together for this cause and spread awareness,” she said.

The other titleholders are Nice Lampad of Bayugan City, Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism; Eryka Vina Tan of Legazpi City, Miss Philippines Fire; Angel Santos of Trece Martires City, Miss Philippines Water; and Jimema Tempra of Jasaan, Misamis Oriental, Miss Philippines Air.
