Ryan Cayabyab on nurturing one's talent: 'Staying power is about hard work and hasa'

Ryan Cayabyab took to Twitter to dish some advice on how to nurture one's talents.

According to the renowned musician and composer, some people have inborn talents, but the classic route is painstakingly honing one's craft.

"Believe me. Staying power is about hard work and hasa," Ryan wrote.

"S'yempre merong iba pang factors. But for now, hasâin mo muna 'yang talent mo, pagpaguran mo, pagpawisan mo. Lilitaw 'yun lahat pag handa ka na!" he added.

Some have it, naturally. But the classic route: hard work para mahasa. Believe me. Staying power is about hard work and hasà.

In 2020, Ryan launched online concerts in partnership with local artists to raise funds for those affected by COVID-19.
