Over 100 motorcycle riders join Pride Ride

Over 100 motorcycle riders joined Pride Ride on Sunday to show their support to the LGBTQIA+ community this Pride Month.

According to Mark Salazar's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, the Pride Ride began from Pasay City to Taguig City.

Che Cruz, an organizer of the Pride Ride Manila, said the event is their contribution to push for LGBTQIA+ rights.

"Dapat sana laganap ang respeto, inclusive sana at sana may equality," she said.

Some Kapuso stars attended the event, such as Gabbi Garcia, who rode with her father, and Klea Pineda, who was with her girlfriend, Katrice Kierulf.

Klea said it was a difficult decision for her to come out publicly back in March, but she was able to do so with the support she received.

"Mas marami akong nababasang massages na natutuwa sila sa courage ko nung nag-out ako," she said.

"Hinintay ko lang ang right time for her and for us so happy na nandito kami ngayon representing LGBTQIA+," Katrice added.

Gabbi, meanwhile, shared that her dad invited her to join the ride and show their support.

"Ally talaga ako ng LGBTQIA+ ever ever since kasi ang dami ko rin mahal sa buhay na nasa community nila," said the "Unbreak My Heart" star.
