Pia Arcangel, Kim Atienza and more pay tribute to Mike Enriquez

GMA Integrated News reporters and hosts paid tribute to veteran broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez, who passed away on Tuesday.

Pia Arcangel shared a short clip of her interview with Mike last year on her podcast "Suprise Guest With Pia Arcangel."

"Lahat ng meron tayo, hiram lang natin ito. Pinahiram lang sa atin. And that's enough reason na magpasalamat," Mike said in the video she posted on Instagram.

In the caption, Pia herself thanked Mike for everything.

"Sir Mike's attitude of gratitude was with him always," she said.

Mike's "24 Oras" colleagues Iya Villania and Kim Atienza also posted their own tributes on Instagram.

On Instagram Stories, Iya shared a video of the "24 Oras" tribute to Mike from her position in the studio balcony.

"Oh Sir Mike. It was an honor to work with you. You will continue to be missed. Rest in peace," she said.

Kuya Kim, meanwhile, shared a black and white photo of Mike, whom he called Booma—his nickname in the media industry.

"See you later Booma. You are missed," he said.

Connie Sison also posted black and white photo of Mike on Instagram and wrote a short message.

"You will be missed our beloved Sir Mike. Marami pong salamat sa lahat."

Mel Tiangco and Vicky Morales, Mike's long-time co-anchors in "24 Oras," became emotional as they reported his death on Tuesday's newscast.

Mel loudly applauded Mike before she delivered the closing spiel for the program.
