Faith Da Silva happy to be likened to Pia Wurtzbach, open to joining beauty pageants

Getting called Pia Wurtzbach's look-alike is nothing new for Faith Da Silva.

Whenever she posts new photos of herself on social media, netizens constantly point out the two beauties' resemblance to each other.

On Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Sparkle star said that she feels happy whenever she receives the compliment.

"Of course, I feel happy. Isa din siya sa mga naging inspiration ko talaga," she said.

Faith said that she looks up to Pia because of her perseverance and drive not just in career but also her relationship and her personal life.

"Kunwari si Jeremy [Jauncey] di ba? Parang lahat naman tayo gusto nating magkaroon ng mala-Jeremy na partner," the actress said.

Jeremy is Pia's husband.

Given the Pia comparisons, is Faith open to joining pageants?

"Sa totoo lang, when I was younger, 'yung ang gusto kong gawin pero nung nag-transition ako to teenage hanggang sa early adulthood, parang nawalan ako ng kumpiyansa sa sarili ko," she said.

"Pero ngayon, now that, 'yun nga with what I've said na I'm growing and I'm learning so much things, puwede. Bukas po ako," she continued.

Last year, Faith said that she wants to make sure she's "100% ready" when she finally submits her pageant application.

"'Pag nag-join na 'ko, I wanna make sure that I am 100% ready, nakapag-train na 'ko for everything. I'm excited for that journey pero hindi ko siya minamadali. I wanna take my time," she said.

In July, Faith finished Grade 11 with flying colors.

She currently stars in "Maging Sino Ka Man" with Barbie Forteza and David Licauco.

She also previously starred in "Unica Hija," "Las Hermanas," "Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday," "Sahaya," "The Gift," and "Kambal Karibal."
