Matteo Guidicelli earns marketing degree from University of San Jose-Recoletos

Matteo Guidicelli is now a degree holder!

On Facebook, Saturday, the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City shared some snaps of the Kapuso actor and host giving his graduation speech and marching on the stage.

The "Black Rider" actor and "Unang Hirit" host has earned his Marketing Management degree through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP).

According to the post, Matteo talked about the "importance of responsible usage of social media and the power of perception" in his speech.

He also invited his fellow Josenian graduates to be "catalysts of positive change."

Matteo is the grandson of the Order of Augustinian Recollects brother general and former USJ-R dean, the late chief justice, and senator Marcelo Fernan.

Aside from his marketing management degree, Matteo took up a four-week acting workshop at the New York Academy in Los Angeles and a theater course at Brent International School in Laguna.

Matteo is set to star in an upcoming movie titled "Penduko." He previously shared that his wife Sarah Geronimo had positive feedback on his new project after seeing the trailer.

In August, Matteo took his fans behind the scenes on the set of "Penduko." The movie is directed by JP Laxamana and also stars Cristine Reyes.

Meanwhile, Matteo stars alongside Ruru Madrid, Yassi Pressman, Kylie Padilla, and Katrina Halili in the GMA series "Black Rider."

Matteo signed a contract with GMA Public Affairs earlier this year.
