Sanya Lopez is the newest face of this international cosmetics brand in PH

Sanya Lopez is the newest brand ambassador of MAC Cosmetics Philippines.

The announcement was made on Thursday during the relaunch of MAC Cosmetics' iconic lip bullets, now dubbed MACximal Silky Matte Lipstick, at Whitespace Makati.

During the event, the Sparkle actress' favorite makeup artist, Gery Penaso, gave a demo of the "Teddy makeup" look on Sanya, which is a classic, smoky look.

Sanya also shared her favorite MAC lipstick shade, Velvet Teddy.

"Actually, this is one of my favorite lipsticks from MAC, and ito talaga 'yung madalas kong ginagamit because it reflects my personality, simple but competitive," she said.

Aside from Sanya, other MAC crew for this year include "Drag Race: UK vs. The World" queen Marina Summers, beauty content creator Ry Velasco, and TikTok stars Teree Daisuke and Mitch Briones.

Earlier this month, Sanya received her own Eastwood Walk of Fame star and dedicated it to the late German Moreno.

Sanya is set to star in the upcoming historical drama series "Pulang Araw." She is part of a star-studded cast of Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Alden Richards, and Dennis Trillo.

She is also set to reprise her role as Danaya in "Sang'gre."
