'Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho', Vicky Morales, more Kapuso programs, personalities win at the 18th Gandingan Awards

GMA Network won big at the 18th Gandingan Awards with several Kapuso programs and personalities taking home major awards.

Broadcast journalist and "24 Oras" news anchor Vicky Morales took home the Best News Anchor award, beating five other nominees.

Meanwhile, GMA Public Affairs program "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," won the Most Development-Oriented Public Service Program award, besting five other programs.

"24 Oras Weekend" news anchor Pia Arcangel and Kim Atienza's "Kuya Kim, Ano Na?" segment bagged the Gandingan ng Kababaihan and Gandingan ng Agham at Teknolohiya awards respectively.

The 18th Gandingan was held on May 4 at the Charles Fuller Baker Memorial Hall of University of the Philippines Los Baños.
