Sparkle, Alden Richards, other Kapuso stars win big at Jinseo Arigato International Film Festival

It’s a big win for the Kapuso Network after it reaped several awards at the Jinseo International Film Festival in Japan!

According to an Instagram post by Sparkle GMA Artist Center, the talent arm of GMA Network earned the Best Filipino Artist and Talent Management award.

The award was received by GMA Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Sparkle’s Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia.

Aside from Sparkle, “Encantadia” star Sanya Lopez received the Best Filipino TV personality award.

In a video message, the Sparkle actress said it was an “honor” to receive the award, adding that she will always “treasure” the recognition.

Meanwhile, Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards was recognized as the Best International Film Actor. Despite his absence from the Japan festival, Alden made sure to thank everyone who supported him through a short video message.

Kapuso comedian Kiray Celis was also among the awardees, winning the Best Versatile Comedienne award.

On the other hand, “Sang’gre” stars Bianca Umali and Kelvin Miranda were awarded Best Dramatic Actress award and Most Prolific Dramatic Actor award, respectively.

The Jinseo Arigato International Film Festival was held in Nagoya, Japan, from May 25 to 26, where several Kapuso films such as "Chances Are You and I" starring Kelvin, "Mananambal" starring Bianca, and "Malditas in Maldives" starring Kiray were screened.
