BINI to perform in 126th Philippine Independence Day celebrations

Heads up Blooms! You will have the chance to see BINI live for free as they will be performing in the celebration of the 126th Philippine Independence Day on June 12.

According to the Presidential Communications Office, BINI will be staging a free concert at 7 p.m. at the Quirino Grandstand to cap off the Independence Day.

Before the concert, a "Kalayaan Parade" is set to take place at 5 p.m. where 20 Filipino-made floats will be showcased. Several provinces are said to participate in the parade.

Aside from the Kalayaan Parade and free concert, other activities such as cooking competition, obstacle course race, tiangge, and nightly free concerts from other artists like Plethora and The Juans will commence starting June 10.

There will also be a Labuyo Eating Contest of the Chili Festival and a free film showing of Filipino heroes.

The Philippines is celebrating its 126th Independence Day on June 12, which commemorates the Philippines' declaration of independence from Spain in 1898.

BINI, meanwhile, has been making waves with their music and has three upcoming sold-out shows at the Araneta Coliseum from June 28 to 30.

Composed of Jhoanna, Colet, Maloi, Sheena, Aiah, Mikha, Stacey and Gwen, BINI's most popular songs include "Pantropiko" and "Salamin, Salamin."
