Binibining Pilipinas International 2024 Myrna Esguerra graduates from college

Weeks after being crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2024, Myrna Esguerra achieved another milestone: earning a bachelor's degree.

On Instagram, the beauty queen from Abra shared her graduation portraits as well as a lengthy caption of filled with gratitude and reflection.

She graduated from City College of Angeles with a degree in tourism.

"Crown or Diploma? I say, why should I choose between a diploma and a crown when I can have both?" she began.

"Ma, Pa! Graduate na ako—may graduate na kayo, may beauty queen pa kayo!" she added.

Myrna also looked back on her childhood days and recalled how she used to handle everything independently at the young age of seven.

"I had to handle everything on my own—going to school, cooking my meals, and doing my laundry, despite having hands too small for the task," she said.

"I had to manage these responsibilities because my mother was working abroad," she added. "That little girl fought so hard. I am so proud of you, little Myrna."

Myrna ended her post with an inspiring note for her young followers.

"No matter who you are or where you came from, you can dream big and make that dream your reality, and I'm happy and proud to share with all of you that I did it," she said.

Earlier this month, Myrna was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2024. She is set to represent the Philippines in the Miss International pageant next year.
