Troy Montero, brother KC share hilarious anecdote about ramp modeling experience

Aside from being actors, Troy Montero and his brother KC were once upon a time ramp models.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the duo looked back on their modeling days and shared a funny story about one of their experiences.

Remembering his first-ever ramp show for an international clothing brand, KC recalled that he and Troy had to transform into a lion as the show was all about animals.

"Sabi ng casting director, 'si KC, be a lion,'" KC shared and did a lion's roar.

The casting director was not satisfied with his "roar," and went on to give him a cute masterclass on how to do it.

The casting director then tapped his Kuya Troy to do a lion's roar, and after flawlessly executing it, Troy got the King of the Jungle role in the show.

As for KC, he ended up being a Venus flytrap, a carnivorous plant.

"I wasn't even an animal. I was a Venus flytrap. I was a plant," he said.

KC is married to Stephanie Dods. The couple tied the knot in 2019 and they have one son.

Meanwhile, Troy married his longtime girlfriend Aubrey Miles in 2022. They have two children: Rocket and Hunter.

Troy currently appears in the GMA Afternoon Prime series "Lilet Matias: Attorney-At-Law."
