Mel Tiangco has funny reaction to Iya Villania's pregnancy in '24 Oras'

Iya Villania got a warm welcome from "24 Oras" anchors Mel Tiangco, Pia Arcangel, and Emil Sumangil on Wednesday after she returned from a short break.

During the closing spiel of the news program, Mel, Pia, and Emil celebrated Iya's pregnancy, which she and her husband Drew Arellano announced earlier in the day.

"Uy, welcome back from your two-day vacation. Ha? Tapos may baby nang dala at pang-lima? Ano ba 'yun, Drew? Ngayon lang ako nakarinig ng ganiyan, ha?" Mel told Iya.

"'Wag mo na akong pagalitan, Tita," Iya answered. "Ay naku! Pero last na talaga. Last na talaga!"

Pia, however, reminded Iya to "Never say never."

Mel also said, "Delete, delete 'yan. Congratulations. I'm so happy for you."

"We're a growing family," Iya said.

"Growing and growing and growing and growing!" Mel quipped.

Iya and Drew announced that they are expecting another baby through a joint Instagram reel on Wednesday afternoon.

They first teased netizens about having their fifth baby last January.

The Kapuso couple tied the knot in 2014. They have three sons—Primo, Leon, and Astro—and a daughter, Alana.
