GMA Integrated News reporter Darlene Cay selected for ASEF Journalists Seminar in Budapest
GMA Integrated News senior correspondent Darlene Cay has been named among the journalists chosen to be part of the 14th ASEF Journalists Seminar (ASEFJS14).
It will commence on September 9 and conclude on September 12 in Budapest, Hungary.
Cay is the only Filipino journalist selected for the program.
She will join 21 other journalists and media professionals from The New York Times, Channel News Asia, The Times of India, and South China Morning Post, among others.
The ASEFJS14 curriculum will cover essential keynotes about Artificial Intelligence’s (AI) impact on journalism workflow and productivity, detecting misinformation and disinformation with AI, developing guidelines and best practices for AI in journalism, and more.
Cay has been with GMA for 10 years. Her most notable coverages include the Taal Volcano eruption, the Davao del Sur earthquakes, and COVID-19.
