FDCP offers 18 horror films for streaming this Halloween

It's Halloween!

The Film Development Council of the Philippines has a slew of horror films available for streaming through its JuanFlix Channel for those up for some spine-chilling flicks this spooky season.

The "Stream & Scream" lineup is now available for streaming, featuring Filipino horror films that will surely test your mettle.

Two films from "Stream & Scream" are free to stream, namely the Jaclyn Jose-starrer "Bahay ng Lagim" by Celso Ad Castillo and "Sigaw ng Hatinggabi" by Romy Suzara.

Meanwhile, subscribers may stream the following:

  • "T'yanak" by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes
  • "Midnight in a Perfect World" by Dodo Dayao
  • "Lukas the Strange" by John Torres
  • "Mga Bag-ong Nawong" by Mark Garcia
  • "How to Disappear Completely" by Raya Martin
  • "Autohystoria" by Raya Martin
  • "Urihi nga Luha" by Nino Maldecir and Rodjie Tabigo-on
  • "Wag Kang Titingin" by Pam Miras.

JuanFlix also partnered with the Academic Film Society (AFS) to present Academia Online's fifth edition,  "Whispers in the Dark."

"Whispers in the Dark" features a lineup of eerie short films created by student filmmakers from all over the nation. The films will be free to stream on JuanFlix from November 1 to 15.

The films are the following:

  • "Buhok" by Jonathan M. (MINT College)
  • "Doodlebug" by Kester Hamoy (University of San Carlos)
  • "Hijo" by Euxim Valonzo Garcia (Far Eastern University)
  • "Kilapsaw" by Robbie Capio (FEU)
  • "Kunig by Margaret Diaz (University of Santo Tomas)
  • "La" by Angelli Lazarte (USC)
  • "The Last of Us" by Russell Jude Bernabe Tardio (iAcademy)
  • "Presence Unknown" by Michael Angelo Amparo (Bulacan State University)
