GMA Network programs, personalities honored at 11th Paragala Media Awards

Several GMA Network programs and personalities were honored at the 11th Paragala: Central Luzon Media Awards during the awards night on December 6 at the Holy Angel University in Angeles, Pampanga.

GMA Integrated News' flagship newscast “24 Oras” took home two recognitions, including the Eye of the Nation Award (News Program) and Crisis Coverage Award (News Program).

Meanwhile, “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” was hailed the winner of the Voice of Society Award (Magazine Show), with its host, award-winning broadcast journalist Jessica Soho, winning the Voice of Society Award (Journalist).

• Vanguard of Reality - Kara David, "Magtanim ay 'Di Biro," "I-Witness"
• Face of Televisual Brilliance - Susan Enriquez ("Unang Hirit")
• Voice of Society Award (Documentary Show) - "I-Witness"
• Central Luzon’s Choice (Local TV Station) - GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon
• Merit on Health Education (TV Program) - "Pinoy MD"
• Pinnacle of Art and Culture (TV Program) - "Biyahe ni Drew"
• Catalyst for Science Exploration (TV Program) - "Amazing Earth"

Paragala Awards is a student-based award-giving body organized by the Communicators’ League of Holy Angel University. It celebrates the service and dedication of media personalities in the country and honors individuals who excel in the fields of journalism, broadcasting, and entertainment.
