Miss Universe Philippines 2025 candidates shine in preliminaries

The battle for the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 crown is now on!

Sixty-six candidates showcased their grace and elegance as they strutted the stage in violet-toned swimsuits and sparkling evening gowns at the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 preliminaries on Monday.

Pageant fans are now picking favorites based on the performances of the aspiring queens, which include new faces and also pageant veterans like Ahtisa Manalo, Winwyn Marquez, and Katrina Llegado.

The preliminary competition, which started around three hours later than scheduled, was hosted by Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and reigning Miss Universe Asia Chelsea Manalo along with Erika Kristensen-Lee.

The pageant's national costume competition is set on April 30, while the coronation night is set for May 2, 6 p.m., at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The winner will be crowned by Chelsea and will represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2025, which will take place on November 21 at the Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
