Josh Ford remembers late friends he lost from tragic car accident
Josh Ford took time to remember his late friends, including Sparkle teen actor Andrei Sison, whom he lost in a tragic car accident two years ago.
Josh was the only survivor of the crash, which claimed the lives of two other people: the driver Paolo Bueza and another passenger named Arman Velasco.
In his guest appearance on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" on Monday, the Sparkle actor said that he misses his friends everyday.
"They're really nice guys and sila talaga 'yung naturing kong kapatid dito po sa outside world," Josh said.
According to Josh, he didn't know how to move forward from the accident but acknowledged that he has to stay strong and focus on the future.
Josh also confirmed to Tito Boy that every time he would meet Andrei's parents, he would apologize to them.
"Hindi po sorry na parang what happened. Siyempre, I'm sorry for the loss. As in, condolence po talaga. Kasi we became best friends. They were all brothers to me and up to this day, even though it's like two years already, ang bigat pa rin po sa pakiramdaman," he said.
As someone who stayed in the same house with his late friends, Josh admitted it was hard to live alone because he got used to their presence.
"I live alone and sila po 'yung palagi kong kasama sa bahay before. Ngayon, it's just hard kasi nasanay po kung nandyan sila. It's just, I just have to really focus on what I am now. And palagi ko silang ikukwento. Hindi ko sila makakalimutan," Josh shared, adding that he often visits their graves.
The former "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" housemate also hoped that his friends are proud of what he is doing right now.
"I just want them to be happy, you know, sa mga ginagawa ko. I just want them to see me on TV. Kasi they never saw me on TV," he said. "So, I think it'd be nice for them to see me here now."
He also expressed gratitude to his friends, saying that he wouldn't be Josh Ford if it wasn't for them.
"Ang dami ko natutunan sa kanila. To be just me. To be genuine and to just be myself. Kahit anong mangyari, dapat happy lang, pare. Happy lang. So, I miss them a lot. And I only thought na itutuloy ko ang mga pangarap namin," Josh said. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
