Shuvee Etrata airs firm stance against premarital sex: 'Non-negotiable ko'

Shuvee Etrata opened up about her personal views on relationships and intimacy, stating her firm stance against premarital sex.

In Vice Ganda's vlog that featured her and Ashley Ortega, Shuvee said she is saving herself for marriage.

"It's hard for me to trust, 'di ba? Pero at the same time, gusto ko din namang magmahal. Kasi non-negotiable ko, meme, ang sex. I don't support premarital sex," she said.

The ex-PBB housemate explicitly rejected the idea of engaging in sexual activity to enjoy, try out, and then find what one wants in a partner.

"I don't believe in that kasi bakit ka manggagamit ng ibang tao, ibibigay mo 'yun, tapos you're gonna make it easy for them to get you, and then hindi mo naman talaga 'yun bina-value, and then nabigay mo na," she said.

While acknowledging that individuals have their own choices, Shuvee maintained that her personal stand is clear.

"Kanya-kanya naman tayo. It's just that nung tinanong ako kung anong stand ko, 'yun 'yung stand ko," she said.

Shuvee currently appears in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as Veshdita. She is also set to star in the upcoming show "Master Cutter" with Dingdong Dantes and Charlie Fleming. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
