Cinemalaya 2025 announces dates, venue

Cinemalaya season is almost here!

The independent film festival announced on their social media accounts the dates and venue for the upcoming edition. Cinemalaya is officially happening from October 3 to 12 at the Shangri-La Plaza Cinemas in Mandaluyong City.

"Fearless films. New voices. Stories that stay with us," Cinemalaya teased on Instagram.

"Stay tuned as we journey toward another unforgettable festival," the fest added.

The Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival is an annual event that champions Filipino independent films and shorts.

It is traditionally held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines and extends to various cinemas, but the center is currently being renovated.

Among the entries at this year's Cinemalaya is " Open Endings " starring Jasmine Curtis-Smith , Klea Pineda , Janella Salvador, and Leanne Mamonong.
