Taylor Swift unveils acoustic versions of 'The Life of a Showgirl' songs in limited-edition CDs

Taylor Swift is not done surprising her fans!

On Sunday, the pop superstar announced the release of four limited-edition CDs of her latest album, "The Life of a Showgirl," each featuring bonus acoustic versions of select songs.

"I think my favorite moments from the tour were the acoustic surprises, so I went back into the studio with Max and Shellback to record acoustic/unplugged versions of a few of the Showgirl songs with brand new vocals and production!" Taylor said on Instagram.

The exclusive CDs are available for 24 hours only (or while supplies last) on her official website. Each comes with two acoustic bonus tracks and unique cover art.

Here are the inclusions of each limited-edition CDs:

  • Life Is A Song Acoustic Version, featuring "Opalite (Life Is A Song Acoustic Version)" and "Ruin the Friendship (My Advice Version)"
  • Dressing Room Rehearsal Version, featuring "Wi$h Li$t (Settled Down Acoustic Version)" and "The Life of a Showgirl (Dressing Room Rehearsal Acoustic Version)"
  • Alone In My Tower Acoustic Version, featuring "The Fate of Ophelia (Alone In My Tower Acoustic Version)" and "Eldest Daughter (Now You're Home Acoustic Version)"
  • So Glamorous Cabaret Version, featuring "Elizabeth Taylor (So Glamorous Cabaret Version)" and "Elizabeth Taylor (Original Songwriting Voice Memo)"

Taylor is also set to release the music video for "The Fate of Ophelia" on October 6, a few days after the worldwide debut of the "The Life of a Showgirl."
