Dingdong Dantes champions disaster awareness through educational videos
Dingdong Dantes is dedicating significant energy to his role as a national disaster preparedness advocate, helping spread crucial awareness through accessible media.
According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, the Kapuso Primetime King is featured in a series of educational videos from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, focusing on various types of calamities.
"These are mga information videos on what to do kung sakaling may isang earthquake, may sunog, may volcanic eruption, kung may bagyo, may pagbaha, kung ano 'yung mga basic na kailangan mong gawin," he said.
Per Dingdong, the information is easily accessible, as they are available online.
"And it is relatable kasi hindi siya masyadong mahirap—mga one-minute, two-minute, bite-sized information para mas madali nating ma-absorb at mas madali natinmh magawa at ma-practice sa ating mga bahay," he said.
While focusing on this vital advocacy work, Dingdong is also busy with "Family Feud," "Amazing Earth," and his upcoming series "Master Cutter."
"Matagal na akong 'di gumagawa ng series, so parang panibagong pakiramdam na naman ito. Tapos siyempre parang naalala ko 'yung gaano pala kasarap talaga gumawa ng isang series and lalo na siyempre, mga kasamahan natin, talagang very, very talented," he said.
Dingdong will star in "Master Cutter" with Max Collins, Shuvee Etrata, Charlie Fleming, and more.
Directed by Dominic Zapata, "Master Cutter" is an action series that follows the story of Anthony, a former scout ranger turned lowkey-tailor who secretly lives a double life as an elite hunter or man tracker. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
