Miss Grand International 2025: Emma Tiglao is a moon goddess in national costume competition

Emma Tiglao is as beautiful as the moon in the national costume competition of the Miss Grand International 2025!

The Filipina beauty queen wore a Patrick Isorena-designed ensemble which took inspiration from the Kapampangan goddess of the moon, Mayari.

The costume, which combines hues of blue, silver, sapphire, and midnight, has a crescent backdress, celestial wings, and a flowing cape.

"Each element weaves the story of a Filipina goddess — fearless yet graceful, mystical yet human, standing as a beacon of light amid darkness," Emma wrote on Instagram.

In the closed door interviews of the competition, Emma wore a white pant suit with matching tube top that featured solihiya pattern. The outfit was handcrafted by inmates of BJMP San Fernando City Jail.

Emma is hoping to pull off back-to-back titles for the Philippines in the Miss Grand International pageant. CJ Opiaza took the 2024 title earlier this year after India's Rachel Gupta resigned and relinquished her crown.

The Miss Grand International 2025 finals will be held on October 18 in Bangkok, Thailand.
