Mika Salamanca gets tattoos removed to prepare for future acting roles

Mika Salamanca underwent a tattoo removal procedure to prepare for future acting projects.

On TikTok, aesthetic and dermatological clinic The Aivee Clinic shared a video of Mika having some of her tattoos removed.

"This is hard for me 'cause I love my tattoos and all of them [have] meanings. Before ko silang ipalagay, talagang pinag-iisipan ko," Mika said.

"Pero nag-decide akong ipa-remove some of my tattoos kasi kailangan ko for acting. Kailangan ko para sa mga future projects," she added.

The Kapuso actress said she is having a hard time hiding her tattoos during tapings and brand endorsements.

"Kahit noong bata pa ako, I really love tattoos, so I don't think titigil ako ever na magpa-tattoo. It's just that siguro pause lang muna sa ngayon. I think in the future kapag nag-decide na lang ako na mag-focus sa music, but for now, removal na muna," she said.

Mika is the Big Winner of the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" along with her Kapamilya duo Brent Manalo.

She currently appears in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as Anaca. She is also set to star in the upcoming GMA Network and ABS-CBN's collaboration project "Secrets of Hotel 88," with some of her fellow housemates.
