SB19 returns to 'The First Take' with powerful performance of 'DAM'

SB19 is back on "The First Take" for the third time!

The P-pop Kings delivered a powerful performance of their song "DAM," showcasing their strong vocals, flawless rapping, and eargasmic harmonies.

"DAM" is the focus track of their "Simula at Wakas" EP, which they released in February. The song debuted no. 1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart and its high fantasy-inspired music video fetched over 4 million views in just 24 hours.

The title is a play on the Filipino word "Pakiramdam." The song is an anthem about staying true to one's values and principles despite the sacrifice required to achieve greater dreams in career and life.

SB19 previously appeared in "The First Take" last year, performing their songs "GENTO" and "MAPA."

 "The First Take" is a Japanese YouTube channel which invites artists to perform for only one take. SB19 is the first Filipino act to be invited to the platform.

SB19 has been making waves in the Japanese music market. They sold out the Tokyo stop of their "Simula at Wakas" world tour and released a physical CD of the EP in Japan.

The group also entered the Billboard Japan chart for the first time with "Simula at Wakas," making them the first Filipino group to enter the chart.

SB19 is composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin. The group debuted in 2018 under ShowBT Philippines and founded their own company, 1Z Entertainment, in 2023.
