Ahtisa Manalo receives warm welcome in Thailand as she begins Miss Universe journey

Ahtisa Manalo is now in Thailand for Miss Universe 2025 and she received a warm welcome from pageant fans.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe Philippines shared photos of Ahtisa's arrival in Bangkok, where she was greeted by fans carrying Philippine flags and printed portraits of her.

The beauty queen wore a modern take on the Chut Thai: a delicate lace top with a sash-like drape on her shoulder paired with loose pants.

"Crowds cheered and waved as Ahtisa Manalo arrived in Thailand for Miss Universe 2025. The love and support were overwhelming — truly a queen welcomed with open hearts. The Universe feels the Filipino pride," MUPH said.

At her send-off at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday morning, fans brought the energy to express their support.

"I really appreciate it. This is like the greatest push I can get before I leave and compete," she told the media, as seen in Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras Weekend."

"For the preparations and everything, I made sure I'm physically fit to be here," she added. "There are no stones left unturned."

Ahtisa is vying for the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe crown. The coronation night will be held on November 21.
