SB19 makes 4th 'The First Take' appearance with 'Time' performance

SB19 delivered an emotional performance of "Time" on their fourth appearance on "The First Take."

On Monday, the P-Pop Kings showcased their vocals with a new arrangement of the English ballad from their "Simula ng Wakas" EP.

The song opened with guitar strings gradually setting the beat that becomes more intense during the chorus.

"Time" is one of the songs that highlights the individual vocals of each SB19 member, while still containing their strong harmonies.

SB19 first debuted in "The First Take" last year with "GENTO," which was followed shortly by "MAPA." They then returned this year with "DAM," the focus track of "Simula at Wakas."

 "The First Take" is a Japanese YouTube channel which invites artists to perform for only one take. SB19 is the first Filipino act to be invited to the platform.

SB19 has been making waves in the Japanese music market. They sold out the Tokyo stop of their "Simula at Wakas" world tour and released a physical CD of the EP in Japan.

The group also entered the Billboard Japan chart for the first time with "Simula at Wakas," making them the first Filipino group to enter the chart.

SB19 is composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin. The group debuted in 2018 under ShowBT Philippines and founded their own company, 1Z Entertainment, in 2023.
