GMA Kapuso Foundation readies relief goods for those affected by Tino in Cebu, Southern Leyte, Eastern Samar
The GMA Kapuso Foundation is now repacking relief goods in the Visayas, which will be distributed to communities that were affected by Typhoon Tino in Cebu, Southern Leyte, and Eastern Samar.
According to "24 Oras" on Wednesday, the foundation conducted its repacking activity today at GMA Cebu Station, while the 802nd Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army helped with the repacking of relief goods in Ormoc, Leyte.
The relief goods will be distributed on Thursday to residents affected by Tino in Talisay, Cebu; Silago, Southern Leyte; and Homonhon Island in Eastern Samar.
Another team from the GMA Kapuso Foundation is now heading to Eastern Samar to help in more relief efforts.

According to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) on Wednesday evening, the number of reported fatalities due to Typhoon Tino has reached 85. Forty-nine of the reported deaths were recorded in Cebu; two were logged in Leyte; one each in Bohol and Capiz; and four in Negros Island Region.
The OCD also reported 13 missing persons in Cebu and 62 missing persons in Negros Occidental and Oriental, with causes still to be determined. Meanwhile, 17 were reported to have been injured due to Tino.
Signal No. 2 is hoisted in the Kalayaan Islands as Tino continues to intensify and moves over the West Philippine Sea, according to PAGASA's 5 p.m. bulletin on Wednesday.
