Myrna Esguerra visits Philippine Embassy in Japan, celebrates Filipino community abroad
Myrna Esguerra paid a visit to the Philippine Embassy in Japan, where she was warmly welcomed by the Filipino community and Deputy Head of Mission Christian L. De Jesus.
On Facebook, the Filipina beauty queen reflected on the experience and shared photos of her soft pink Filipiniana dress by Carl John Miranda.
"Being surrounded by the Filipino community so far from home reminded me of the strength, unity, and warmth that define who we are as Filipinos no matter where we are in the world," Myrna wrote in the caption.
"Maraming salamat po to everyone at the Embassy for your hospitality and for the inspiring work you do for our fellow Filipinos here in Japan. Mabuhay ang lahing Pilipino!" she said.
Myrna arrived in Japan earlier this week for the Miss International 2025 competition.
The pageant is set for November 27 in Tokyo, where she will vie for the country's seventh crown.
In August, the Miss International organization released the official portraits of Myrna and the other delegates.
